James Harmeling
Director
Jim Harmeling is the senior pastor at Southside Church in Clayton, North Carolina.
He was born in Texas and grew up in Michigan, but he has spent most of his life in Southern California.
He has pastored churches in California, Tennessee, and North Carolina for the past twenty-three years. Rev. Harmeling earned his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Education from Wheaton College and has graduate degrees from Talbot School of Theology and The Master’s Seminary.
He is presently pursuing a Ph.D in Applied Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is a teaching pastor who typically instructs the congregation in the Bible by means of a verse by verse exposition.
