Capitol Commission Illinois

Welcome to Capitol Commission Illinois. In 2010, our ministry will enter its third year of service, and we are thankful for the opportunity to serve in the political arena.

Last year we taught a series on Psalms and distributed a set of notes each week of session to every legislative office. A morning Bible study for legislators developed along with an afternoon study for their aides. One-on-one meetings with our leaders in the Capitol or at their home strengthened these relationships and regularly giving the Invocation for the House or Senate provided an avenue to meet many others.

We are eager for this next year to begin with studies in the Gospel of John. Many have an understanding of Jesus, but few seem to understand what Scripture says about Him. Please pray for growth in our ministry along with the salvation of your political leaders. This may seem daunting at times, but as surely as the Lord spoke the world into existence, He is able to speak life into those who are without it. May He receive much glory in accomplishing the impossible in our Statehouse.
