Jonn Paul is a North Dakota native and was raised on a family farm near Buffalo, N.D. After high school he attended Dakota Aero Tech in Fargo and upon graduation worked 16 years in the commercial aviation industry. While residing in Dallas Texas, Jonn was given the opportunity to pursue an expanded role of teaching and service in his local church. After receiving a call to full-time ministry, he first pursued undergraduate studies at Moody Bible Institute and later attended Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned a "Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies." He has since been ordained to the ministry of the gospel by Denton Bible Church--his mission’s sending church in Denton Texas.
Jonn married his wife Rita in 1994 and together they have committed their lives to serving Christ. Both accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior as adults, and clearly witnessed the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. This transformation initiated by the testimony of God’s Word, has made Jonn especially optimistic about the ability of the gospel to liberate America’s adult population from a life of futility and despair.
Jonn has always been politically conscious and possesses a strong sense of patriotism in being American. He is convinced the best posture toward our political leaders is personally serving them with love and respect, while presenting them with an intriguing and challenging encounter with the risen Christ through Holy Scripture. It is this philosophy that motivated him to join Capitol Commission, and consequently return to his home state in service to Jesus Christ.
