Welcome to Capitol Commission Pennsylvania!
Our focus in the Capitol is singular: Exalt the name of Jesus Christ.
In response to Jesus’ mandate to the first generation of believers (Matt. 28:18-20) and the Apostle Paul’s admonition to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, our goal is the intentional development of disciples and disciplers for Jesus Christ within the political arena. We seek to do this via 1) Evangelism: sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in the manner suggested by the Apostle Paul in his letter to the church at Colossae (Col. 4:5, 6), 2) Establishing believers in The Faith, and 3) Equipping believers to live as Salt and Light with a Leavening influence in that part of God’s Kingdom where they have been placed.
Because we are committed to the pre-supposition that the Bible is the word of God written, our group Bible studies and one-on-one interactions are all grounded in what is taught in this Word.
