CAPITOL COMMISSION WEST VIRGINIA

Welcome to Capitol Commission West Virginia. Thank you for your interest in fulfilling the Great Commission among the political leaders of the Mountain State.

We are now entering our eighth year reaching out to government leaders and elected officials with the gospel. God has continued to bless us with open doors to minister to leaders at the Capitol. Our heart’s desire is to see such a ministry expand to reach every political leader and elected official in the state.

This year our Bible studies will be focusing on "The Key to Understanding the Bible: Seeing Jesus as the Story of the Scriptures". Many people fail to see the grand story of redemption as the central theme of the Bible. Instead they see the Scriptures more as a rule book or guide book and Christianity as a religion of doing good or living better. However the message of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is that God did for us what we could not do for ourselves through Christ and His life, death, and resurrection. We will be focusing on Christ and the gospel in the Old Testament.
