Welcome to Capitol Commission Minnesota
We are back! After a short hiatus, God has re-opened doors that will allow Capitol Commission to minister to the needs of the political leaders of the State of Minnesota, as well as to their families, staffs and networks. This non-partisan, non-political pastoral ministry is absolutely necessary in these days of political and societal uncertainty.
Our first priority is to establish relationships that will allow us the privilege of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who call Capitol Hill “home”. My wife, Sue, and I have been meeting legislators, their assistants and other Capitol Hill staff members, as well as the leaders of sister ministries such as the Capitol Prayer Network and the Capitol Network of Legislative Spouses. The welcome that has been extended to us is more than encouraging. It has cemented in our hearts the conviction that Now is the Time! for the Gospel to be proclaimed and the preeminence of the Lord Jesus Christ to be affirmed in and through the lives of our leaders.
While it is true that
God is our Source and Supply, we know that His primary means in providing the finances necessary to launch and sustain this ministry is normally done through the generosity of those being led by His Holy Spirit to give. To you who follow that prompting we would like to say “Thank You”. We could not be here without your prayer and financial support.
