I wanted to give you an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of political leaders near and far by sending me to Turkey.
An incredible ministry opportunity has been opened to us. I recently received a letter of invitation from some of the members of the Turkish Parliament (similar to our Congress). The sponsors of this trip included me in their invitation to AR legislators. Visits like this have been well attended by many of our congressional leaders, mayors, legislators and other key political leaders. While the nature of this trip is designed to build bridges between the two countries, between political leaders, and is designed to foster development in the areas of commerce, education and cultural exchanges, I believe this opportunity and its setting will provide both a unique opportunity for me to represent America in Turkey, and because of the uniqueness of our ministry, will also provide many opportunities to represent Christ to all. Your prayers and your gifts are vital!
$3,000 will make it possible for me to attend this trip. There is a sense of urgency related to funding this trip since plane tickets would need to be purchased ASAP (our delegation departs July 16 – 26). The quickest way to send your tax-deductible gift is through our ministry website at www.capitolcom.org .
I greatly appreciate you, and commend you for your interest and partnership in the spiritual health of our political leaders, and in helping us to make a difference in the lives of political leaders near and far. Please be praying for the delegation I will be a part of, as we will most likely be gathering several times before and after this trip. For example, this Sunday our delegation plans to spend several hours gathering informally over Turkish cuisine while getting to know one another and listening to a speaker who will brief us on the democratization of Turkey. I have tried to keep this brief, so feel free to contact me for more information at Jason.firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
