From Capitol Commission Arkansas!
May you and yours celebrate the incredible and indescribable love gift from God the Father. Because He so loved the world, that He gave His only beotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him, might not perish, but have everlasting life!
May you celebrate God the Son, because He willingly left heaven, humbling Himself by becoming a man. He perfectly obeyed all of God's law, so that He could offer His own life as the only acceptable sacrifice and ransom for many. This blameless life was freely given so that all men, kings, and all who are in authority, who come to Him in faith, might not be judged and eternally undone by their very real moral guilt, against a holy God, but would rather be saved, and shown mercy by God being redeemed through the shed blood of the Lamb of God--Jesus Christ on the cross. He who was and is without sin, died in the sinners place, so that by grace, and through faith, in the Lord Jesus Christ, believing sinners might not only be spared from the wrath to come, but in Christ, become the righteousness of God!
May you also celebrate God the Holy Spirit, who places the believer in Christ, sealing believers until the day of redemption! The Holy Spirit now comforts all of us who believe, in all of our afflictions, according to our needs, encouraging us with real and lasting peace and hope from God, Who pours out His love into our hearts! The Holy Spirit illumines the believers mind when we read God's Word, the Bible, and helps us to pray to God, even granting us to have the mind of Christ. God the Holy Spirit helps all believers to increasingly become more and more like Jesus Christ, bearing His fruit with every good deed, which God has prepared in advance for us to walk in. He does all of this while strengthening us as overcomers, so that we might be blessed doers of His Word.
In fact, because of the birth, death, resurrection and ascensions of Jesus Christ, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, believers are now in Christ, and have everything we need for life and godliness, having received every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
Now we await the 2nd coming of the Lord Jsus Christ with eager anticipation, and with much excitement, because we know that our complete redemption, and the inheritance of the saints is soon in coming, because God has promised such to all who believe.
This is some of what is possible through God's Christmas gift! So for this reason, I wish you and yours the Merriest Christmas.
May you receive with faith, and enjoy to the fullest, the greatest gift ever given to sinful people, a Son, provided by God, as the only way back to the life God intended for those Created in His image, from the beginning.
Merry Christmas from the Palermo Family, and from Capitol Commission!
