April 6, 2016

I wanted to provide a follow-up report for everyone concerning our Capitol Commission Awareness Luncheon that took place on March 15, at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Little Rock.

Overall, the Awareness Luncheon Was a BIG Success!

Over 12 legislators attended with over 110 in total attendance. We heard encouraging testimonies from 4 of Arkansas’ Constitutional Officers, who shared their appreciation for this ministry. Also at the event 10 elected officials provided excellent comments on video, for future ministry use. Several invitations were offered from Pastors to come to their church. Overwhelmingly positive comments from attendees, as well as several people who expressed their desire to be involved as a volunteer

1,000 Thank You’s

Thank you to all who participated in this event. You truly made it wonderful. I know my wife and I were amazed at God's goodness. God really blessed every detail, from the singing to all the volunteers, to the catering, to those who sponsored this event. It could not have happened, and it could not have happened as wonderfully as it did without you. Many people from pastors to politicians commented that they were blessed, and that they are ready for us to go full-time.

Overall, a very encouraging day for the ministry.

   So, what is next?

I am glad you asked... Below are three opportunities, I will share more very soon.

A Breakfast Fundraiser in Hot Springs

We are seeking special funding for the fiscal session, which begins on April 13. We plan to have a breakfast fundraiser at the Bleu Monkey, in Hot Springs, AR on April 26th. Breakfast will be featured in a buffet style, and will be $12 per person. For more information, please contact Lee Beard in media and communications at or me at

A Pastors’ and Partners’ Day at the Capitol

We are holding Capitol Commission Pastors’ and Partners’ ministry tours of the Capitol. So far we have two scheduled one on April 14, the other on April 21. Both will run from 10:00 – 11:30 AM. For more information, please contact Lee Beard in media and communications at or me at

A Micro Event Near You

In an effort to transition from bi-vocational to full-time we are holding what I am calling micro-events (in-between our larger events around the state). A micro-event is just what it sounds like, a smaller version of our larger events. A Micro-event could be as large as you and a bunch of your friends at a restaurant, or it could be you and your friends at a dessert or appetizer social. If you were blessed by our Awareness Luncheon and would like to share this ministry with your friends, this would be a great and fun way to do so. Please Contact me at

For those of you who missed our Capitol Commission Awareness Luncheon, here is one of the videos we shared at the luncheon, entitled: "10 Year Awareness Video" .

Thanks for all of your interest and support.
