Arkansas News Update Feed

April 29, 2017

The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it (Isaiah 55:10-11).

I have a simple prayer request, please pray that the Lord would bless the preaching of His Word this Sunday as I share the vision and mission of Capitol Commission.

If you happen to be in the area (North West AR) I will be speaking at the First Baptist Church of Prairie Grove. Services start at 10 AM. Also, please pray for safe travel for my wife, and daughter and me. Weather forecasts are calling for 8 inches of rain this weekend and that is on top of swollen rivers and creeks, some of which may likely overflow.

As we say in Arkansas, "Lord willing, and if the creeks don't rise, I will be there."

I will soon give you an update on the previous legislative session, and some of the exciting things we have been blessed to be a part of, and share some of what we are planning on doing this year. Until then, God richly bless you with every spiritual blessing that is Christ Jesus our Lord.
