AFTER THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Yesterday was the annual National Day of Prayer, and I was honored to speak at the East San Diego County Mayors Prayer Luncheon in El Cajon. It was encouraging to see some friends and ministry sponsors again, and a joy to meet many other incredible people for the first time, including mayors, city staff, pastors, ministry leaders, business leaders, law enforcement officials, military officers, and others.

I shared stories of how God is at work in the CA State Capitol.

At the same time, my friend Jim Young, who is the president of our national organization based in North Carolina, sent out a sobering email letter that I think does a great job explaining the importance of praying for and reaching out to government leaders and how others can partner with us in this. Please click here to read it. I'd love to hear what you think.
Despite the persistent and increasing unrest in the political arena, I continue to be encouraged by what I see the Lord doing. Rest assured, He is at work in some great ways behind the scenes in people's lives! Thank you for your prayers and partnership with us as we keep reaching out to so many in His name.
