    December 31, 2013

God has been good to us in many ways throughout 2013.

For my family, it has included Kristin and me celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. Abigail (our daughter) and David (our son) continue their studies in the classical grammar stage. Abigail started the Classical Conversations Essentials Program, with David soon to follow. Both are now reading their Bibles during our weekly worship!

For the ministry in the Capitol, it has included witnessing God touch the hearts of legislators, state leaders, staff, lobbyists, and others.

As we move into a new year, the Lord is here to guide us. We can count on that if we are seeking Him! "The LORD's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'Therefore, I have hope in Him'" (Lam 3:22-24).

The state legislature reconvenes the second Monday in January. I will be there, and I certainly appreciate your prayers and partnership.

May the Lord God bless you with a Joyous New Year!
