    Georgia News Update Feed

    December 3, 2019

    Today you have probably already received a plethora of requests to donate to your favorite charitable organization because the day that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday has become known as “Giving Tuesday” (a day for giving to non-profit organizations).

    I hesitate to add one more email to your inbox, yet feel I would be amiss if I did not extend a sincere "thank you” to all those who do partner with Capitol Commission as we shine the light of Jesus into Capitol communities with Bible-teaching, discipleship, and outreach for state legislators, statewide leaders, staff, and lobbyists.

    I know the state of our nation’s culture (and of our leaders) is important to you. Capitol Commission exists because we believe the people of our great nation (and their well-being) are significant to God. Therefore, we promise to remain committed to our threefold purpose:

    • Prayer for the leaders of our states and nation;
    • Presence, as pastors in our state Capitols; and,
    • Proclamation of the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.

    God is working marvelously! I am truly amazed at how lives are impacted as the living Word, Jesus Christ, and the written Word, the Holy Bible, is proclaimed in the halls of government. Just recently, an elected official requested counsel and prayer, and then stated appreciation for the ministry of Capitol Commission and that "it means a lot."

    I realize there are many worthwhile organizations to receive your financial investment. I simply want to focus on this unique ministry, and keep everyone informed as to what God is doing and how the Lord is working. (Contact me anytime if you would like a personal update.) I pray and trust God to provide for all He wants accomplished. As you continue to respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit in this regard, you are the answer to our prayers.

    We are immensely thankful for your partnership. Thank you for helping me be your Christian voice in the Capitol. You can give electronically (choose "active state ministry" and then "sub fund") or by mail (P.O. Box 244, Rincon, GA 31326-0244); or, even donate stocks, real estate, or other assets (you will pay less tax, give more, improve your personal cashflow and have the opportunity to rebalance your portfolio . . . tax free! Go to https://www.ncfgiving.com for examples from our partner organization: the National Christian Foundation).

    Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom 15:13).

    Your Missionary-Pastor to Our Leaders,

    Ron J. Bigalke, Ph.D.

    Capitol Commission is prepared to encourage and enable local churches to participate in reaching our capitol communities for Christ (1 Tim 2:1-4). We only need to hear from you, if you have not already contacted us. We also seek to enlist individuals, businesses, and churches to become strategic partners with us in this ministry (2 Cor 8:3-6). Our success as a ministry is based upon God blessing all facets of the ministry, which certainly includes partners in this ministry. We earnestly desire to engage those who desire to participate in the ministry by offering their time and talents (Matt 25:20). If you have not already done so, join us and experience the joy of bringing hope, light, transformation, and truth to those who constitute our capitol communities.
