July 20, 2021
Sunday, July 18, was an encouraging day in our ministry to Maryland leaders. It had been 16 months since we had been together in the same room for our legislative Bible study. Our Zoom Bible studies have gone well, but there’s something extra we benefit from when we’re together.
On this Sunday, I had been asked to fill the pulpit at Central Chapel in Hedgesville, WV (one of our supporting churches) so I decided to invite all of our Bible study attendees from the Maryland General Assembly to join us for church and lunch at our house afterwards. Several were able to come and made the drive over the Potomac to the hills of West Virginia!
You can tell from the pictures that we had a great time together and will explore other ways we can meet outside of our regular Bible study times for fellowship and retreats. The folks at the church truly enjoyed meeting and hearing directly from those we minister to. They are a blessing and Tracy and I have missed seeing them face to face.
Pray for us as we continue to hold our Bible studies on Zoom during the interim! As always, thank you for all the ways you support us.
