March 21, 2019

NOW is the time to join spiritual influencers from across Missouri in PRAYER at our state Capital.  At the beginning of March, we invited more than 20 spiritual influencers from around the state to gather to pray for a spiritual revival, in Missouri, and in our nation. Two days of engaging, loving, and praying for our state senators, representatives, Governor, and other governing leaders brought clarity to how the gospel of Jesus is advancing in the hearts and minds of governing leaders, and what are the spiritual battles faced in the seats of influence.

In response to people asking me what is it like to have 63 new state legislators that began their service in January 2019, I say, “it is like planting a new church”. The new freshman class affords me many new opportunities to share Christ and help followers of Jesus grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.

More than 50 governing leaders study God’s word in our Tuesday morning weekly Bible studies. The 2019 session is a verse by verse study in the book of James. Many that are not able to attend the Bible study will tell me that they read the sermon notes distributed weekly to 200 offices.

“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55:11.

Every week we see the seed of God’s Word entering the hearts and minds of governing leaders, and every week we see the devil’s attempt to sow weeds.

Thank you for partnering together to advance God’s purposes and shut down the devil’s operation.

Your Missionary to Missouri's Governing Leaders,

John Battaglia, D.Min.
