You and I are part of a statewide kingdom ministry to political leaders! We need YOUR help to fulfill our part of the Great Commission doing what Jesus did: “to seek and save the lost.”

As you know, Capitol Commission exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena in state capitols across the nation. Instead of sharing a political message with our legislators, we share the “good news” of Jesus Christ. Scripture calls the Church to pray for the salvation of our leaders (1 Tim. 2:1-4). As churches are faithful in prayer and preach an unwavering gospel, our society and government will be positively impacted.

We are in battle for the minds and hearts of the men and women who largely shape our culture. One of the ways God’s presence is experienced in the capitol is through the presence of the Capitol Commission. If we are present we get to participate. The stakes are too high for a lack of presence.

You and I are entrusted with kingdom resources to advance the gospel of Christ to the state legislature. God has given each of us a measure of faith and a measure of finances. Both are employed to help introduce legislators and their staff to the authentic Jesus resulting in the revolution of the mind and transformation of the heart, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In the book of Acts, chapter one and verse one “…I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach” Luke implies that there is something not done yet. He is not talking about the finished work of Jesus’ redemption for humanity; Jesus said, “it is finished,” so the work of redemption is available to all. The unfinished work Luke implies is the proclamation of the resurrected Christ, it’s the work of discipleship, and it’s the work of expanding the Kingdom of God, wherever and to whomever God would lead.

God has led Capitol Commission to bring the gospel of redemption, and discipleship into state capitol’s throughout our country.

Exciting is the vision that’s behind your dollars: to see every person reached and restored through the love of Christ. You're making an impact in incredible ways for those in spiritual need.

It is a genuine encouragement to have Capitol Commission in the Missouri State Capitol and to join dozens of legislators and others who regularly attend the weekly Bible Study. The world of politics intensifies the temptations that confront every Christian, and Capitol Commission provides an authentic anchor-point for spiritual awareness, stability, and growth.
