God strategically placed a Psalm in His sufficient Word to speak to His people in times like this current pandemic! The Psalm is anchored in the historic context of a national crisis. A time when confusion and fear was hard at work debilitating God's people. A time when God delivered. This Psalm is familiar but often the historical context is overlooked. May the Lord give each believer peace through this study to "come and see" the awesome power of God that is working today! Read and review the scripture and be blessed by the awesome work of the Lord.

Ministry Update:

This is a part two report from being in 10 states over the past five weeks. Thank you for your prayers and partnership! Be encouraged. God is at work in the midst of the ugly!

The work of Capitol Commission continues this week.

a) Many State Ministers reported this past Monday that Capitols are working hard to finish their budgets. Please pray for Kansas, Oklahoma and California and many other states who are continuing their session to complete needed budget and legislation.

b) Capitol Commission Texas State Minister Scot Wall - Pray for Scot, a very active man of God, he needs our prayer as he is recovering from some delicate eye surgeries. Pray also for Darcy and the family to be encouraged and strengthened during Scot's recovery.

c) Ohio State Ministry - "with God all things are possible"

  • Ohio Ministry – preaching in Lorain County resulted in 6 people coming forward to lay on the altar their political anger. They committed to pray for their leaders both local, state and national. Also, to be more sensitive to represent the Lamb of God in their social media.
  • Ohio Ministry – strong Greene, Lorain County and Columbus area Capitol Commission awareness meetings with Pastor/ Business leaders.
  • State Minister Brad Jury, also a Columbus area pastor, serves along with his wife Jennifer. He has been a faithful minister in the Capitol for many years. I am so thankful for faithful men like Brad, used of God in strategic areas across our nation.
    •    He reports:
"I was asked to lead the invocation during a recent City Council meeting (Columbus - Westerville) which included a very controversial agenda of social issue resolutions.  Following the meeting, I was able to speak with and encourage several council members knowing that they were under extraordinary pressure from many sides.  The next day I continued to pursue several of them assuring them of my continued prayers which opened further doors for sharing biblical counsel for their hearts and minds.  On the National Day of Prayer, May 7, I will be privileged to lead in a city-wide prayer meeting which will include the city council, state leaders and hundreds of community and business leaders.  This year's theme is "Pray God's glory across the earth."  In the shadow of the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus's largest suburb, God continues in His delight to build His kingdom.
The mayor of Westerville recently featured a picture of me in her Neighbor2Neighbor Westerville Kindness 2020 Campaign to inspire friendly interactions in our community in the light of Ohio's upcoming election primary."

Would you ask God to continue to powerfully use his word to draw people to Jesus and to strengthen our leaders?

We have asked God to work in our leaders. Let's realize He is! Keep praying!

For His Glory,
