After His resurrection, Jesus gave His Great Commission first to His disciples at their mountain appointment. “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20). This is more than just lifestyle evangelism, it includes going! In fact, even though prayer and support is essential, it is more than prayers and giving! The most exciting thing is that God has given us a strategy to “disciple all the nations” and it has everything to do with leaders. You can read the Bible study notes here.

    Praises:

    • We are so excited to be finished with Matthew after ten years of exposition, not skipping a single verse throughout the first Gospel!
    • In direct answer to your prayers we are encouraged to see the Lord bringing out new leaders to our satellite Bible studies!
    • Not only are we seeing pastors and churches fully embrace the necessity of prayer for our leaders according to I Tim. 2:1-4, the Lord is beginning to move upon the hearts of His people to strategize with us in this great endeavor!

    Prayer Requests:

    • We are embarking on a new opportunity of discipling those in our own state and national leadership through strategically placed resources and we specifically request your prayers for both the funding of this project and those to volunteer to help us with it. If you would like to help with a gift, click here.
    • Please pray that the Satellite Bible studies, personal appointments, and books will be used by God to draw many of our legislators unto Himself. We are continuing to ask the Lord to grant us at least 12 in 2012 according to the Great Commission.
    • That the Lord may grant us many pastors and churches who will commit to prayer for their leaders. The prayer list is here.
    • We are so excited to have Larry Mason, our faithful assistant, back and involved in the ministry. Please pray that God will also grant him a full and speedy recovery.

What a joy to be in partnership with the King of Kings in fulfilling His Great Commission! Thank you for your participation with us in fulfilling the Great Commission through your faithful prayers and support.

    Rejoicing in His grace,
