May 21, 2010
Our interim Bible studies for legislators and elected officials will be held on Tuesday, May 25. We will be meeting at 8:00 a.m. at the capitol building. We are adding an additional study at 12:00 Noon which we hope will allow more folks to attend.
We will be continuing our series in Psalm 119 with a study entitled "The Authority of God’s Word". The notes for our study have been distributed in person at the capitol, sent out along with an invitation letter, and emailed to all our legislators and elected officials. Please pray that God will use His Word to work in people’s hearts. You can download a copy of the notes by clicking here.
As you may be aware, our legislators were in Charleston most of this past week for a special session. This will make their attendance at next week’s interims even more challenging than usual. Please pray for them as they take this time away from family and work and for safety as they travel. Pray that they may indeed begin to make God’s Word the authority for their lives as well as for their work on the important issues they must consider.
In His Service,
State Director, West Virginia
