“…They should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance”. (Acts 26:20)
As Paul stood before one of the highest government leaders of the land, he shared testimony that this was the message he proclaimed at every opportunity. That is the message we hope to proclaim in the West Virginia capitol this week as we consider how the gospel changed the life of Onesimus. You can download a copy of this week’s Bible study here.
I have been encouraged this session by the number of leaders, lobbyists, and staff who have shared with me they are reading the studies even though they are not able to attend our meetings. That is why every week we distribute over 200 copies of the study notes throughout the statehouse both by email and in person.
Please continue to pray for our legislators and elected officials as well as the many staff and lobbyists during the ongoing regular session.
Pray that God will work in many hearts to bring them to true repentance and faith in Christ.
Pray that leaders and citizens alike will “perform deeds in keeping with their repentance” as this is the only thing that will ultimately change our state and our nation.
Thank you once again for your prayer and support of our ministry seeking to proclaim the message of repentance and faith in Christ to West Virginia’s leaders.
