Grace and Gratitude
"To sinners forever saved by grace, thanksgiving should be significant. Our whole life ought to be a continual anthem of praise and thanks to the God of our salvation."
The Thanksgiving holiday just gives us a special opportunity to contemplate all that God has done for us. That is why this month's interim Bible study at the West Virginia capitol is focusing on Grace and Gratitude. The Bible clearly shows us there is a close connection between grace and gratitude. It is when we realize that everything God has given us is an undeserved gift of His grace that we become truly thankful. You can download a copy of this encouraging study here.
We are indeed truly thankful that God has given us an open door to share the gospel with the legislators, leaders, lobbyists, and staff who serve in the statehouse. Please pray as we meet on Tuesday, November 19 that God will open hearts to understand God's great grace and then respond with gratitude and thanksgiving to what Christ has done for them.
As always, we are truly thankful for God's grace as it is shown through your prayer and support of our ministry.
