    February 5, 2014

Inaugurations and swearing in ceremonies are a big deal in the West Virginia state capitol.

In these events our elected officials are formally recognized and approved to perform the duties of their elected offices.

At Jesus’ baptism we have as it were His “Inauguration Day”. There we see Christ approved by the Father and empowered by the Spirit to perform the duties of the ministry for which the Father sent Him.

This is the topic of our study this week at the West Virginia capitol to be held on Thursday, February 6 at Noon. You can download a copy of our study here.

    • Please pray that our leaders would recognize Christ’s work of perfect obedience and His suffering on the cross and turn to Him in repentance and faith.
    • We rightfully honor our earthly leaders at inaugurations and swearing in ceremonies. Pray that we as believers will honor and worship Christ more as we consider all He has done on our behalf.

As always, thank you for your prayer and support of our ministry.
