You do not have the opportunity to make legislation in your statehouse. You cannot make executive decisions that affect all the citizens of your state. It may be that you have never even had the opportunity to visit your capitol. However, you do elect legislators and leaders who represent you - who enact laws and act on your behalf

The amazing message of Easter is that we have One who acted on our behalf. As our representative, Jesus Christ lived, suffered and died, and rose again for us. If we have repented and believed in Christ, we died with Him. We rose again with Him. This truth enables us to live a life of hope and victory as we come to "know the power of His resurrection" (Philippians 3:10).

This is the message of the study we are sharing as we have the opportunity to celebrate the message of our risen Lord at the West Virginia capitol. Our resurrection study is titled, "Were You There When He Rose Up from the Grave?"

Pray that many may come to know what it means to be "risen to walk in newness of life".
