Keeping a Biblical Perspective in the West Virginia Capitol

Our leaders are meeting next week to work on the challenging issue of next year's state budget. Many of them have just completed a grueling, at times contentious primary season. Many of us have perhaps come away shaking our heads at the decisions available in our own primary election. With all this it is at times difficult for both our leaders and we as citizens to keep a biblical perspective on all the takes place in our statehouse and in our nation's capitol.

One of this purposes of our ministry is to try to help our state leaders and believers in general to keep a biblical view and perspective of government and politics. This is the theme of our Bible study at next week's special session, Politics, Government, and a Christian Perspective. We pray this study might be an encouragement as our leaders work through difficult budget issues. We pray that it might also encourage you as you contemplate all that is going on politically at both the state and national level.

    • Pray for our leader as they gather to work on the challenging budget issues next week.
    • Pray that God will open hearts to the perspective of what is truly, eternally important.
    • Pray that God will help you keep a biblical perspective towards our leaders.

Thank you once again for your support of our ministry.
